Miss Kayla's Preschool Class read "The Gingerbread Man" in class and made one of their own. To their surprise when they went to get him out of the oven he had disappeared! Since then they have been receiving letters and posts cards telling them about where he has been spotted!

In honor of Ugly Christmas Attire Day, 1st grade had a competition to see who could design the ugliest Christmas sweater. Mrs. Steele had a really tough time selecting a winner from each class!
The winners are: Mia Rickmam (Mrs. Diomedi), Kashton Gonglik (Mrs. Dodds), Olivia Keyser (Mrs. Thorp), & Arianna Torrales (Miss Vinka)

Mrs. Vasey's third graders spent the morning making holiday crafts. 🎄A huge thank you to Joanne Wise and Leslie Dean for volunteering to help the kids make special surprises for their families. 🎅 We all had a wonderful time.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Macy Day Balloons made by our K-4 Artists!

Second grade participated in their annual Thanksgiving rotation activities. In Mrs. Mamie's classroom, students pretended to be turkeys and used critical thinking and problem solving skills to work together to solve tasks and "escape" being Thanksgiving dinner. The winners are posted below 🦃

1st Grade had their 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade today! The students learned about the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. Then they planned, created & participated in a parade for the whole school to see their amazing creations!

2nd Grade hosted their annual Thanksgiving rotations. Mrs. Patrone taught students about the Mayflower and had materials for students to build their own Mayflower Ship using minimal items. The ship had to float and hold “pilgrims” (marbles). 1st place held 593 pilgrims, 2nd place held 591 pilgrims, and 3rd place held 390 pilgrims. All students did a fabulous job! 🦃
