Mrs. Thorp"s class made a Thankful Turkey. Each student wrote what they were thankful for & decorated their own feather. Together we made our class turkey.

Mrs. Thorp's 1st grade designed and made their own balloons for the Bellaire Elementary Thanksgiving Parade.

2nd Grade hosted their annual Thanksgiving rotations. During Mrs. Patrone's rotation, students learned about the Mayflower and did a STEM activity. Each group constructed a Mayflower ship to hold "pilgrims" using only aluminum foil, a pipe cleaner, and two pieces of tape.

2nd Grade teachers love doing themed rotations for the holidays! Miss Price's rotation allowed students to learn all about The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Miss Price read a book about the parade, students were able to make their own balloon design and even used the VR headsets to see how big the balloons actually are on Herald Square!🎈

Mrs. Patrone hosted a "Friendsgiving" with her class and made friendship pies. They read the book "Enemy Pie" and discussed how people can turn into friends if you give them a chance. They also talked about how kindness and empathy can go a long way! ❤️🥧🦃
