These 3rd grade scientists got a little creative with states of matter! They used Fruit Loops to represent atoms, and modeled how particles are arranged in solids, liquids, and gases.

September is Attendance Awareness Month! Students should be bringing home these two half sheets today. Please review the student and parent pledge with your child. After reviewing them both, parent and child need to sign the Attendance Pledge and return to your child's teacher. Together we can make a difference!

Bellaire Elementary kicked off Attendance Awareness Month today! The class with the highest percentage of attendance has the opportunity to win a trip, with their teacher, to the Bellaire Big Reds football game on Friday, September 25th. The attendance contest begins tomorrow, September 2nd and will run through next Friday, September 11th. Also, students will be bringing home an Attendance Pledge for both student and parent to sign and return to school.
