Just a Reminder!

Mrs. Patrone's Class participated in a few basketball themed activities to kickoff March Madness. Students designed their own jerseys, learned about the history of basketball, and did 3 digit subtraction review. They also built basketball hoops using limited supplies and had a battle of books. Finally, they designed their own basketballs and wrote an opinion essay on if basketballs should be a different color and why.

We were honored to welcome Amy Gamble, who shared her inspiring journey of becoming an Olympian. She talked with our kindergarten and first grade students about setting big goals, working hard, overcoming challenges, and never giving up on their dreams. Amy competed in the 1988 Olympics on the handball team. Thank you, Amy, for reminding us that with determination and heart, anything is possible! 🏅🇺🇸

Cooper, Tate, Percy, and Miles saved 70 Big Red Tickets to have a special guest lunch! Big Red Tickets are given out by teachers to students who are kind, respectful and hard workers!
We are so thankful to have had a few of our high school basketball players from both teams join them for lunch! 🏀Our school is so lucky to have awesome role models for our little ones to look up to! Thank you for joining us! ❤️
