What a wonderful hands-on learning activity! Our TAG students were to design and build a device that will protect medicine vials (eggs) being air-dropped over Africa to provide them with the much needed medicine. The results were great, only two broken eggs in all 3 classes!

Our 8th grade students are on their way to Cleveland for their 8th grade trip! They will be going to a Cleveland Guardians game and to Cedar Point. Our chaperones are wearing their “Guardians of the 8th Grade” shirts to tonight’s game, such a great idea! ❤️🖤❤️


Bellaire Middle School will be featured on WTRF7 this evening for the kindness campaign started by 6th grader, Ian McConnell. We were able to donate $684 to our Blessings in a Backpack Program by selling shirts. Thank you to the Bellaire community for purchasing #BeKind shirts and to Ramcat Alley for making the shirts at a discounted price! If you are interested in purchasing more, please reach out to 6th grade teacher, Kevin Schmidli!


BMS 5th Grade ELA Teacher, Mrs. Tracie Hughes, wrote two Hershey Grants for $250 each, which were generously donated by the Hershey Company to improve our community. @hersheycompany @wemovement #HeartwarmingProject

BMS 8th Grade Student of the Month for April 2022 is Kyla Estes-Gordon. Her teachers write that, “We would like to acknowledge her growth and improvement both in and out of the classroom. She is a math standout and is always willing to help her peers and her teachers.”

BMS 5th Grade Student of the Month for April 2022 is Grace Myers. Her teachers write that, “Grace is such a good student in and out of the classroom. She is always prepared and eager to learn. Grace is a sweetheart and the fifth grade teachers are glad to have her as a student.”
