BMS Fall Festival - Post 1 of 3

How cool do our hallways look for the BMS Fall Festival this evening? Our teachers and students did an amazing job of getting our school ready for the event. The theme for all the hallways is board games, just like we did for spirit week! ❤️🖤

Reminder - BMS Fall Festival/Open House/Book Fair is tomorrow evening from 5-7 p.m. We will have games, prizes, & crafts at this event!
8th Grade will have a dunk tank & Mr. Schmidli said he cannot be dunked! There will also be other teachers who you can try to dunk at this event.
Snacks will also be available for purchase, including Dippin' Dots from the band.

Note from Mr. Schmidli - I will be in the dunk tank at the fall festival and I plan on staying dry. Let's see what you got.

Bellaire Local Schools will be on a two-hour early dismissal schedule, this Friday, October 27,
for all students, due to busing to the Nelsonville-York High School Playoff Game for our football team, cheerleaders, and band members. BMS dismissal will be at 12:12 p.m. #GoBigReds

Transcript of this afternoon's call out: Good Afternoon, Families! This is Miss Berdine, the principal of Bellaire Middle School. I am calling you this afternoon with several reminders:
First, BMS Make-Up Picture Day is tomorrow, October 24, 2023. , Mrs. McAninch dropped off photos today for families who ordered pictures from the first picture day. All students were sent home with a code from MacSnaps Photography today, so that you can access and purchase digital photos, if you would like to do so.
Also, we are having our annual Open House & Fall Festival this Wednesday, October 25, 2023. We will have our book fair, games and prizes, snacks for purchase, and we will even have a dunk tank (profits from the dunk tank will support the 8th grade trip to Washington, DC).
Next, we will have a student vs. staff volleyball game on Halloween, October 31, 2023. Students in the staying clean club can sign up to see if they can defeat the reigning champions – the middle school teachers! I was also fortunate to be the lucky winner of Frizzi pepperoni rolls, chips, and ice cream sandwiches for the whole school from the Littell family and Mr. Bill Schmidt, so we will have those to pass out during the volleyball game!
Our 7th & 8th Grade Staying Clean Club will be traveling to Wheeling’s Capitol Music Hall on November 2, 2023. Permission slips for this trip must be turned into Miss Doyle by this Friday, October 27.
Last, but certainly not least, we look forward to welcoming our families for conferences in the evening, next Thursday, and during the school day, next Friday. Our teachers will be sending out reminders with a time of when you should show up for conferences. If you did not receive that letter by the end of this week, please reach out to one of your child’s teachers, via email, and they will let you know your scheduled time.
Thank you for all you do to contribute to our school community! Have a great evening, and GO BIG REDS!

Reminder to Bellaire Families: Bellaire Local Schools are on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, October 23, for all students, due to the end of the 1st 9 weeks. #GoBigReds
