Bellaire Local Schools is proud to announce the hiring of alumnus and highly respected collegiate coach Missy Tiber as the district’s next Athletic Director. Coach Tiber brings more than three decades of coaching experience, leadership, and relationship-building to this role, along with a deep passion for Bellaire and its rich athletic tradition. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to developing young people both on and off the court, and we are excited to welcome her home to lead and support our student-athletes, coaches, and athletic programs.
“After 30 years of coaching college basketball, the opportunity to return home and serve as Athletic Director was simply too special to pass up. This decision is bittersweet because women’s basketball has given me so much—lifelong relationships, unforgettable experiences, and a career that exceeded my dreams.
What makes this next chapter so meaningful is the chance to be closer to family and raise my children in my hometown. While I will always cherish my time on the sidelines, I am excited for the opportunity to support and lead an entire athletic program, helping coaches and student-athletes achieve success.”
