Bellaire Elementary -
Title I - Schoolwide Building
Bellaire Elementary School is a schoolwide Title I School, which allows federal funds to be used for educational programs for all kindergarten through fourth-grade students.
The goal of the Title I program is to help every child receive a high-quality education, especially in reading and mathematics.
Bellaire Elementary School strives for community and family involvement with our school, creating a community of excellence.
What are the federal compliance requirements for Title 1?
There are several regulations that a schoolwide Title I School must follow to maintain its federal funds. The following are some of those requirements:
*School-Student-Parent Compact
*Notice of Parents' Right-to-Know
*Available Rights of Children Experiencing Homelessness Information
*Title I Annual Meeting for public review (August 19, 2025) Meeting Information
*Timely Notice of Teacher Certification/Licensure Status
Family involvement is essential to a successful Title I program. The annual meeting and parent input help us to provide valuable information that drives our building’s Title I decisions. We strongly encourage families to attend our Family Literacy Nights, volunteer at our school events, and communicate with our staff.
