The Traveling Museum visited Bellaire Elementary on March 5th. Students had the opportunity to discover our American History roots and how our country has progressed over time. The program meets all state and STEM standards. It included a 10 foot tall erupting volcano with T-Rex and T-Rex skeleton. Lifelike scenes of plants and water that showcased dinosaur relics were a favorite of the students. Students got to see fossilized stone, coprolite (dino poop) and bones. They were also entertained with the archaeoligical dig site and a dinosaur dig site. It was a great event that highlighted the Right to Read Week theme of dinosaurs.
